Cynthia de la Vega Oates, Nuestra Belleza Mundo México 2010 or Miss World Mexico 2010/ Miss Mundo Mexico 2010 has just been dethroned for not fulfilling her obligations. Miss de la VegaShe is supposed to represent Mexico in Miss World 2011 later this year in London.


However, it is a pity that the national organization, after reviewing her performance, decided to revoke the tittle as well as the right to represent Mexico in Miss World Pageant. The Nuestra Belleza México organization will reveal soon who will represent Mexico in Miss World 2011, maybe during Nuestra Belleza México 2011 in late August.

Miss India Kanishtha Dhankar , who is the first Miss India going to Cannes, said she had no idea that she would be lucky enough to attend the prestigious film fest this year.



The 22-year-old Mumbai girl, who is preparing for her Miss World pageant, said, “The global exposure I will get through this is definitely a plus point for my upcoming pageant. It will help me get the crown back.”

Results of The Best Costume Competition for Miss Universe 2011

Panama chooses national costume for Miss Universe


The Best Costume competition of the Miss Panama 2011 pageant took place on Thursday, May 5th. The winning costume will be featured during the 2011 Miss Universe pageant to be held in Sao Paulo in September. The winner was “El Cacique Paris, deidad indigena y gran tesoro del Quema”, designed by Moises Sandoya, and modeled by Miss Herrera, Sheldry Saez.


In 2nd place was Miss Veraguas, Irene Nunez, in a design by Abdul Juliao


And in 3rd place was Miss Panama Centro, Keity Mendieta with a design by Daniel Cortina.
